Our Core Values

Jewish Education

We partner with campus and the wider community to provide students with the space and tools they need to explore their Jewish identity, foster curiosity, and become lifelong learners. We are committed to a pluralistic vision of Judaism and embrace all movements.

Tikun Olam (Repairing the world)

We model lifelong learning, civic engagement, and work together toward Tikkun Olam.

Inclusivity

Inclusivity We create welcoming spaces where students of all backgrounds belong. We show respect and compassion to those with different experiences and perspectives than our own.

Leadership

We empower students to be Jewish leaders amongst their peers, citizens of their community, on campus, and beyond.

Connection

We work to deepen students’ connection to the Jewish people, the College of Charleston and the wider Jewish community.

We promote students’ exploration and engagement with Israel through cultural and educational programming and opportunities.
